The Creative Industries Council in collaboration with the West Midlands Combined Authority invites you to join them for the official launch of the national Creative Industries Toolkit.

The creative industries have been the fastest grow­ing sector of the UK economy over the last two decades making it one of Britain’s greatest success stories. From music, film and TV to design, advertising and video games – UK creative industries symbolise the global economy of the 21st century, and are amongst the world leaders in their fields.

Place matters when it comes to the creative industries. This exclusive event will celebrate the region’s creative offer and an expert panel will explore how we can maximise the value of this sector, to increase its impact across all parts of the region’s culture and economy.

Keynote speakers include:

Nicola Mendelsohn: Chair of the Creative Industries Council and Vice President of Facebook Europe, Middle East & Africa will launch the national ‘Creative Industries Toolkit’

Andy Street: Mayor for the West Midlands will set out his vision for creative and technology industries across the region

John Newbigin, OBE, CIC Chair, Regions & Clusters, Chair, Creative England will chair a panel discussion between experts from the industry
