The recent announcement of a general election means that the DY5 launch has been postponed due to the purdah period of the election campaign. The launch event will now be held on will now be held on Thursday 22nd June 2017. Attendees are asked to re-register for a place for the new launch date.

Earlier this year, Dudley Council, Black Country LEP and West Midlands Combined Authority were given the green light to launch DY5 – Dudley’s Business and Innovation Enterprise Zone.

This exciting event will mark the official launch of DY5 and is designed to inform delegates about the scale of the Enterprise Zone and the benefits it can provide to businesses.

During the life span of the zone it is expected to create 7,000 new jobs and give a significant upturn in the areas economic growth of around £600million. It will provide fantastic opportunities for businesses, big and small, to expand as they benefit from reduced business rates or tax breaks for purchasing machinery.
