MIPIM 2017, Cannes, March 14th – March 17th

Department for International Trade has committed to build the Midlands’ profile at MIPIM 2017, the world’s largest property investment event.

With 20,000 global industry specialists, including 4,800 investors, 1,280 developers, 350 local authorities and 370 journalists.

During MIPIM 2016 the Midlands Engine set out its stall to win £14 billion from global investors as part of its plan to turn itself into one of the world’s leading regional economies. The Midlands Engine Pitchbook was launched  illustrating the region’s investment potential.  At MIPIM 2017 the Midlands Engine will increase it’s attendance and present projects aimed at accelerating economic growth and attracting investment to the region.

A step change in our profile

The Midlands Pavilion will showcase our plans and build dialogue with the world’s leading sovereign wealth managers, pension funds and other members of the investor community. Our delegation comprises of council leaders / officers, LEP representatives and private sector partners. As part of this new initiative, the entire region will be located in a dedicated Midlands UK Pavilion. This will give us the opportunity to create a step change in our collective profile and impact.

What does this mean for your business?

We believe this presents a unique opportunity for organisations to be part of the delegation. There are a range of sponsorship opportunities available ranging from £1,500 through to £20,000.

MIPIM is an opportunity to put your business in front of the most influential international players from all property sectors.

You can be part of the greatest showcase of development projects and sources of capital worldwide.

It’s an event that allows you to take advantage of a unique environment, providing exceptional networking, showcasing and commercial opportunities.

A years worth of business in 4 intensive days

The new Midlands Pavilion will elevate the profile of the area and offer many benefits to commercial partners who join the delegation:
